YOU CAN RELY ON TKC DURING DIFFICULT TIMES - COVID-19

During the Covid-19 lockdown both TKC Day Nurseries remained open for Key/Critical Workers and vulnerable children. We also supported vulnerable families from local nurseries which closed during this time. Finally, TKC Partners would like to acknowledge the strident efforts made by the Stockport Council who worked ceaselessly, in partnership with TKC, during the whole lockdown period. OFSTED RATING

TKC Day nurseries are registered by OFSTED from birth to 8 years. In 2016 and 2018, TKC Chapel and Heald green, respectively, were awarded the OFSTED RATING GOOD on all aspects of service and quality provision.

FEE PAYMENT STRUCTURE

The TKC fee structure has been adapted to meet the needs of families with different budgets. Parents are given the opportunity to pay one flat inclusive monthly fee (i.e. includes all nappies, formula milk and later on healthy, balanced, nutritious meals) or pay the non-inclusive fee for sessions that you require.

Free Entitlement Funded (FEF) learning sessions for children aged 2, 3 and 4 years. Discounts are offered for siblings of TKC registrants.

PARENT PARTNERSHIP

TKC parents play a pivotal role in the ongoing development of TKC practices whether through social gatherings, monthly newsletter or as the TKC Parent Representative. TKC Parent Representatives, help support the TKC staff team by offering a parent’s prospective on TKC practices, learning targets and communication.

POLICIES AND PROCEDURES

TKC have taken considerable time and care to develop policies and procedures to ensure that the children are safe and secure, and supervised by professional staff who lead by example. Copies of TKC policies are also available in the nursery office or simply visit our Parents page.

QUALITY STAFF & ONGOING TRAINING COMMITMENT

Senior EY Practitioners are enthusiastic and highly qualified (NVQ levels 4-6). Senior EY Practitioners are supported by EY Practitioners (NVQ 3) and/or Apprentice Nursery Nurses (NVQ 2/3, in training). Our Support Team comprises, Nursery Support Assistants and Operations. TKC corporate structure is tailored to make sure that our EY Practitioners, Nursery Nurses and Apprentices, focus solely on caring for the children.

TKC have a commitment to supporting continued professional development (CPD), to ensure TKC nurseries maintain the highest standards of childcare provision. TKC staff undertake regular CPD training (and maintain an ongoing record of this), so are up to date with latest developments, techniques and technology within the childcare field.

SESSION TIMES

TKC session times have been adapted to meet the needs of the modern working family. Morning, afternoon, part day and full day sessions are available. School collections services may also provide for siblings of TKC registrants, just to make life simpler.
